Small Procedures

 

Small procedures we perform in the office commonly include:
 

• Foreign body removal from the eye
   

• Removal of eyelid cysts (chalazion)
   

• Injection of medications for macular degeneration and other macular and retinal problems
   

• Laser treatments for glaucoma
   

• Laser treatments following cataract surgery
   

• Retinal laser for diabetic eye disease, retinal tears, etc
  
  These procedures are performed with local anaesthesia and are usually painless or only cause  minimal discomfort.
