Associate Professor Ehud Zamir, MD,

A/Professor Ehud Zamir is a Melbourne ophthalmologist (eye specialist and surgeon) who practices comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmology. He has been an eye specialist since 1999 and has longstanding, ongoing clinical and surgical experience. He has also been involved in academic work, including extensive teaching of doctors and medical students, research, development and international publications since 1994.

 

A/Prof. Zamir has made original contributions to Medicine and Ophthalmology. He has presented his work in numerous medical conferences in Australia and internationally. He has authored over 80 scientific papers in the peer-reviewed medical literature and 3 book chapters.  

 

He has been a long term member of the Senior Medical Staff at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne Department of Ophthalmology and the Centre for Eye Research Australia.

 

He is well recognized for his skills as a clinical diagnostician, a researcher and an educator.
